The story of Sealine's pioneering approach to boat design begins over 34 years ago with a structural engineer called Tom Murrant.

Seeking a boat for his family he was unable to find a craft that truly offered everything he wanted. Instead of abandoning the thought he, with the help of three colleagues, designed and built his own 23 ft cruiser.

Following the success of the project, Tom realized the potential for building well thought out, quality craft and as a result, Sealine was born. Not just a company but a philosophy built on this self-belief and desire to achieve the ultimate customer experience.

Tom and his family tested each boat, and through first hand experience, customer insight and the support of his team, introduced numerous innovative features many of which have become industry standard.

Sealine remains true to this ethos. Instinctive understanding is at the heart of the company, driving there research and continous improvement. Imaginative features and intelligent design are an essential part of all their sports and flybridge curisers.

Today Sealine is still run by people with a real passion for boating. With over 600 employees, their staff are highly skilled; many are marine enthusiasts themselves. Some have been employed since the development of the very first Sealine cruiser - the 23 ft Continental. Sealine employees are specialists in their respective fields which include everything from mould-making to wood and metal working, upholstery, lamination, interior design and naval architecture. Passionate individuals working as one, lending there skills, ingenuity and vision to realise individual, high quality craft.

They are one of the few boat builders who run a entirely in-house operation. From the drawing board through to the finished product, every stage of design and production is carried out within Sealine's 350,000 sq ft of covered workshops. Their current facilities span a fully integrated 14 acre site, including a state of the art design and development centre, technologically advanced lamination plain, and purpose built customer facilities.

Sealine is currently one of Europe's largest production luxury boat builders, producing over 300 boats a year. Their model range includes 15 models spanning 25 to 60 ft from sports boats and flybridge cruisers through to luxury motor yachts. With an international sales and dealer network that we are proud to be part off, Sealine has representation across the globe.
